LENS COVER Open/Close RingAfter Use
Turn off the camcorder.

Open the LCD monitor fully. Slide EJECT to open the
2cassette holder, then remove the cassette.
Press PUSH to close and lock the cassette holder.

Close and lock the LCD monitor.

BATTERY RELEASE
Slide BATTERY RELEASE to remove the battery pack.
Set to OOFF�.

Turn the LENS COVER Open/Close Ring to close
6the lens cover.
Cleaning The Camcorder
To clean the exterior, wipe gently with a soft cloth.
1Put the cloth in diluted mild soap and wring it well to
wipe off heavy dirt. Then wipe again with a dry cloth.
Remove.
Open the LCD monitor and wipe gently with a soft
PUSH ButtonEJECT Switch2cloth. Be careful not to damage the monitor. Close
the LCD monitor.
To clean the lens, blow it with a blower brush, then
3wipe gently with lens cleaning paper.
To detach the eyepiece, turn it counterclockwise and
4pull it out.
Remove dust from the viewfinder using a blower
5brush.
Re-attach the eyepiece and turn it clockwise.

NOTES:
cAvoid using strong cleaning agents such as benzine or alcohol.
cCleaning should be done only after the battery pack has been removed or other power units have been
disconnected.
cMold may form if the lens is left dirty.
cWhen using a cleaner or chemically treated cloth refer to the cautions of each product.
cWhen removing the eyepiece, be sure to hold the viewfinder securely. |
